   ►The Planícia state  (Banyalbufar) will be bought by the government. Until an agreement with the prior buyers isn't reached, the finca will remain closed.

  ►The trail from Alaró to Binissalem has been cleared by the hiking group GEM (1. march)

  ►The overgrown trail through the Comellar de ses Sínies in the Galatzó state has been cleared. It connects Es Capdellà with Estellencs and allows the climb of S'Esclop.

   ►On october 2007, a heavy rainfall has destroyed the fishers' trail (Camí des Pescadors- Port des Canonge).

  ►One project for the Archduke's trails: "Territori Arxiduc"

  ►Since the 12 of november the mountain hut Pont Romà (in Pollença, 42 Places)and since the 6. of september the mountain hut of Son Amer (in Lluc, 54 places) have been opened. 

    ►2 new sections of the GR 222 between Caimari and Lluc has been opened (summer 2007)

     ►On the 25. of february, the hiking group GEM has cleared a section of the "Camí Vell d'Alcúdia a Lluc" (140 people helped on this action)

    ►The GR-221 has been signposted between Muleta Gran and the Refugi de Muleta.

     ►Once again (the fifth time), 500 hikers demonstrated in Es Fangar (Manacor) on the 16th. of December 2007. The hikers want to stop the owners closing all the public trails across the finca.

     ►The mountain hostel of the GR-221 Can Boi in Deià has been open since June 2006. It has 32 places and a restored olive mill. For reservations call 971 173 700.

       ►The last hiking map 1:25000 was published in June 2006: Tramuntana Sud, from Sa Dragonera to Esporles. The author carried out intensive reconnaissance work with a GPS receiver, which has improved the accuracy of the map. 

      ►The Majorcan Mountain Club G.E.M. organised the trail clearing action on 19 March 2006: the old trail between Orient and Alaró across the Pas de s'Escaleta was quite overgrown.

        ►The mountain cabins of the Govern Balear.

    ►Restoration works completed on the GR-221 between Tossals Verds and Lluc

      ►GR- 221, Section Esporles- Valldemossa could be open in 2008. The trail goes through the housing estate "Son Cabaspre" to the Mola de Son Ferrandell and the pass "Coll de Sant Jordi". From there it crosses the Comuna to Valldemossa. On october 2007 they were some signs near Valldemossa.

   ►The Majorcan Mountain Club G.E.M. organised a cleaning action (grafittis and rubbish) in the Torrent de Pareis on the 16th. of May 2004. The voluntary workers  also improved the security of the difficult passages.
